This has always been an amazing vets for my dog and the family. But unfortunately had difficulties after COVID-19 due to no person allowed into the vets when my dog needed to go and that has affected him on a negative way. He did love going to the vets all until 1 experience during COVID-19 which now has made him dislike going. Apart from that it is an amazing vets. My dogs vet has been absolutely brilliant. Still a great vets but now the main upset for me is the cost of the medications he needs and the cost of them changes from month to month and they never tell us when that happens until you are paying for them.

Great vets, lots of parking and inside a Pets at Home store which is very convenient and costly at times

Stay away!!!! Poor advice led to my dog getting worms wen the vet said not to worry as my dog didn't really need worming tablets after id struggled to get him to take their big tablets. Put muzzle on my dog for routine vaccination without my permission. My boy is the softest dog going! Having nails trimmed led to 2 paws badly cut, the vet stating the heavy bleeding will stop on its own. I had to demand it be treated to avoid getting infected Had an emergency in Devon, they refused to send dogs history via email to the emergency vets. Requested history to be sent to my email address (as signed and agreed with vets policy) this morning due to an emergency....Still waiting over 6 hours later!!!!! Moved premises to inside a store .... Would not like to take my end of life pet there. No privacy if ur upset. Absolutely terrible vets

I wouldn't give this vets practice even 1 star, we took our little dog in to be spayed, on their recommendation we waited the recommended time from her last season then made an appointment for a pre procedure check, all was well and an appointment for the procedure was made, we took her in at the appointed date and she was examined and given a sedative to relax her, we were told all was well and she was taken in for her pre op checks prior to full anaesthetic, later that morning my wife was called and told they couldn't carry out the operation as she was having a phantom pregnancy we were told to collect her in a couple of hours as she had been anaesthetised and was in recovery, to see were fuming is an understatement our dog was examined twice before anaesthetic then when she was asleep they examined her again and said she was having a phantom pregnancy and refused to carry out the operation, the staff did not interact with our dog and said she was difficult to examine and they would need to muzzle her and the our dog was the main reason they couldn't carry out the operation KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE AS WE ARE NOT CONVINCED THE STAFFKNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND DONT REALLY KNOW HOW HOW TO HANDLE A NERVOUS ANIMAL.

I took our elderly hamster Dumpling in this evening and they treated his prolapsed cheek within 15 minutes. Can’t thank or recommend them enough! The vet got him seen and fixed him up straight away and the nurse was so kind to me as I was so upset and gave me great advice on how to avoid the same issue in the future. He’s happily back in his bed without too much disruption. Amazing!

My dog Frankie was transferred here after a very rough night at the emergency vets following a severe seizure. She was staying all day and was being monitored and having tests. All staff were brilliant and the vet was very caring and even before her shift started was asking about Frankie on her way in. I was advised on arrival that the cost of the day's treatment would be £600-£700. On picking up a much better Frankie, I was asked to pay £148. The vet informed me that when monitoring Frankie it was decided she didn't need some of the tests predicted. I can not thank the team enough for the fact we have Frankie home and well and with the little humans she adores. Jo
